The Feather Works

Marketing materials for a stylish new development of contemporary homes.

Something of a departure from their traditional style of development, The Feather Works was a large collection of design led homes with stylish two-storey feature windows and wooden panelling, built on the site of a former feather processing factory. Working with this strong name we focused on a more abstract interpretation using three overlapping translucent feather shapes.

We developed a clean and modern brochure, generating 3D computer renderings of photo real quality for each of the property types and illustrating the site plan by importing the architect's original drawings into our vector drawing software, where features such as grass textures, drop shadows and planting were added to give a high quality view of the site.

We were also asked to design and develop three separate sales centres (throughout the life of site) which involved the design of a functional and presentable layout and the design and commission of bespoke furniture. As part of this brief we designed a storage, viewing and comparison unit - 'Chestnut Choices' - to demonstrate tile, kitchen and worktop choices, which has now been rolled out over all developments because it saved a lot of space.
